She'll be missed

Doug's grandmother passed away, peacefully, yesterday morning. We have many fond memories of Mrs. Claire Harkins. When Doug and I were dating, Mom-mom asked me what my favorite thing was to eat. I told her hot dogs and beans (not sure why I said this, because it's not my favorite). From that day on, every meal we had at her house included a big pot of beans, made especially for me!
When we visited at Christmas, we had the chance to spend a lot of time with Mom-Mom. I'm not sure what it was, but Ethan was very intrigued by Mom-Mom. He would walk up to her with a big smile and just stand there, waiting to be picked up. Doug would sit him on her lap and the two of them just beamed...something I will never forget. Ethan never squirmed or anything to get out of her lap. He was just so content in her arms. And, or course, she loved having him in hers: Please pray for the family.
