Madeline's Photo Shoot
Madeline and I were playing on the driveway yesterday with chalk while Ethan was napping and I told her I wanted to get a picture of the flowers she and Ethan helped me plant so I can show it to my Dad. So she got into modeling mode. She went and sat down by the flowers and said, "How about if I sit like this?!"

Too Tuckered Out
A few weeks ago, Madeline wanted to lay with me on the couch (after her bedtime) and watch TV. So I, of course, obliged. I was watching a DVRed episode of American Idol (the only TV I watch anymore), and Madeline curled up with me to watch. I don't even think she made it through the opening credits:
and neither did Penny:

I wanted to mess with my camera a bit on this beautiful day, so I asked Madeline to pose for me:
And then she just went into model mode:

While I was getting Ethan down for a nap, apparently this was how Madeline chose to enjoy the beautiful day:

Visiting The Frasers
The morning after Christmas, we took a short drive down to Annapolis to visit with my sister, her hubby, and boy. We gave Taylor his first little toy airplane! Here he is flying it around (so cute!):
He didn't seem to excited about the bag I sewed to hold his Tag Junior stuff (that Santa brought him):
Madeline loved helping him!
A car roll!
As usual, the kids loved playing with Taylor's toys!
And, as usual, Uncle Kris was fun to play with!
Madeline asked Uncle Kris to do this over and over. He'd push her down the hallway on the scooter and then throw her on this chair:
And this is fun??? I can still hear her laughing:
"This is my life, kid."
We got the little ones dressed back up in their Christmas gear, hoping for a good pic. Didn't get what I was hoping for, but they were still so cute:
