The Mann's Visit Georgia (Part 2)

We payed a visit to our favorite playground, Brookfield Park.
The girls waited patiently in line for it to be their turn to have their Daddies carry them along the monkey bars:
Looking back at this picture it makes me a little sad because at the time I didn't know how much this day outside would end up hurting our little guy (as far as the allergies):
Emily helped Madeline swing high:
Ethan's photo-shoot:

Hey, what's this??
Hey Dad! Look what I found!!
Peek-A-Boo!
The babies swinging:
Afterwards we went to Panera Bread (aka Nerra Bread) for lunch. Marmie and Pop sent each of the girls their very own $5 gift card so they could order and pay for their own food! how neat!
After lunch we went home for naps and the some more fun outside.
Poor Ethan:
The girls in their matching dresses from Marmie (the Daddies got them dressed while the Mommies took the babies for a walk. They didn't realize the dresses were two different sizes..later when we went inside Renee thought something didn't seem right and she straightened it out)
After some play time outside, the girls made cupcakes to celebrate my birthday:

While the cupcakes and dinner were cooking, the kids did some painting. This was Ethan's first time painting:
...obviously:
...oh dear:
... this is where the fun ended:
We had a delicious dinner of fajitas that Doug made on the grill. Then back outside for more play. Emily wanted to try out Madeline's bike so she can get an idea of what size would work good for her:

Ethan and Grace wanted to give it a try:
Renee and Ray have some friends they knew in MD that just got stationed in GA. They joined us for dinner and took this shot for us (actually they took a bunch of shots and this was the best):
Monday morning the Manns packed up for the long drive home. Ethan got upset every time Ray would walk out the door so Ray finally just scooped him up and loaded the car with Ethan in tote:
And while Ray rearranged the back, Ethan sat and watched:
"uh, so how do I get rid of this kid?"
Ethan and Grace saying some last goodbyes. Actually, Grace is checking out Ethan's Mickey Mouse tattoo that we can't get rid of:
And before they left, I got my first b-day gifts!! Thanks Grace! Two of my favorite things...Dunkin Donuts and Laffy Taffy!!! (Don't tell my dentist!):
It was so enjoyable to have our friends visit us. For those of you who don't know, it was through Renee that Doug and I met. Our two families will be lifelong friends for sure! I look forward to many more visits and vacations together.
